SEPTEMBER: Collection Month PWF

About PWF

Prinses Wilhelmina Fonds (PWF) was established on November 16, 1949 in order to support the fight against cancer.

It was initially financed by the proceeds of a collection, organized by a group of women in Curacao, on the occasion of Queen Wilhelmina’s abdication from the throne in the Netherlands. After her resignation, her Majesty made known her wish to have the proceeds used to create a foundation to support less wealthy cancer patients in Curacao.

Prinses Wilhelmina Fonds is a non-profit organization that does not receive subsidies of any kind and in order to continue doing its valuable work, PWF relies entirely on donations.

Because of the valuable donations received for 65 years, Prinses Wilhelmina Fonds has been able to continue working as it pertains to prevention for the whole community, care, guidance and support for the cancer patients and their families.

September is the "Collection Month" of PWF in Curacao and by means of this fundraising page we would like you to pledge your support to our cause.

Thank you for permitting PWF to serve the community for 65 years!
